picked up my kiwi ibiza gti cupra sport yesterday.still trying to get used to the colour.needs a few bits removed (eg chrome washer jets,max power air filter and bbs alloys)before i can start getting it how i want it.
what mods work best on the 2.0 8v? was thinking about a decent induction kit and s/s system to starters?
i plan on getting some standard alloys on it if i can or a set of mk3 alloys,want to keep it pretty oem

no induction kit dude, just get a replacement pannel filter from whoever then drill holes in the bottom of the air box, what a grunt ya get off it

Yeah, don't put an induction kit - a panel filter and a cold air feed into the standard airbox (plus you can drill it as well if you want) is all you need.
Spacers on the back - you can get away with 20mm ones if your car is a facelift; 15mm ones if it isn't (facelift has rolled rear arches, pre-facelift doesn't which explains the difference).

SuperT's all the way - I think there are a couple of sets for sale on the forum at the mo in Ibiza fitment. I had a set on my ibiza before it got turned into a track day car and I've got a set to go on the S3.

Spacers it's 15 or 20mm per side, the rear beam on the Ibiza is from a polo and the front end a mix and match of MK2 & 3 golf so the rear is 37mm narrower than the front, makes for interesting handling in the icy weather!!

My friend used Autoglym paint restorer or his white escort that was a bit dull and he said it came up like it had been resprayed (with alot of rubbing!!)

no,didnt get it off ebay but have been looking on there lately

i bought it on tuesday.but been looking on ebay for weeks and never saw it.had a look at a few and this was the cleanest by far not a spot of rust on it or dents,was well chuffed well until i finally found a black one the day after

if i end up keeping it,will be getting either some 16 or 17" alloys,lower it a bit and a s/s cat back for starters.
what s/s systems do people have on theres or recommend want a rasp sound rather than a in your face saxo/corsa chav boom thats about 150000 db
got a jetex cat back on my leon 20vt but its a little to quite
any ideas
also does anyone have a link where i can get a hid kit?

If you want a rasp just drill your airbox, they make a great sound. I wouldnt bother changing the exhaust.

i quite like the sound of the standard system to be honest.;would i not get a noticable increase with a 2.5" s/s system?
as for doing the airbox,i need to find one as it has a induction kit on it at the moment and have noticed alot of people on here say the standard airbox (drilled)with a decent panel filter and cold air feed work better!?
anyone got a standard airbox for sale???
