Done a search but can only find it in the Leon section...

Have been offered a set of Twin Intercoolers from a Leon Cupra R, just wondered if anybody knows if they'll fit?

Saves getting turbo lag/losing pressure from a big front mount apparently...

Anybody knows anything please post :D

Might work bud - the only thing would be finding somewhere to feed the pipe work through. I THINK they do this one the bigger Audi's/Passats etc.

Sorry cant be much more help!

put it in the boot lol.jk should be an intresting one this mate, just a case of no one having the pocket to do it yet.

Not so much of a joke as it might turn out, id imagine for this to work, you might need to relocate the battery in order to make room for extra piping across the near side front, so where would the battery go, yeah you guessed it, in the boot ;)

Always on the ball Guiness arent you :)

I say, get 'um get 'um fitted, test some intake logs that show they kick ass over the Forge FMIC, Seat Sport FMIC and even Mikey's single pass jobbie and then I can go out and get some on the cheap ;)

yer I figured moving the battery would come in handy if you needed to run any piping or relocate anything of the N/S. Was joking obviously about putting a FMIC in the boot, however might work just wack the aircon up lol

With regards to the twin SMIC idea....
Firstly you don't get very good airflow to the standard SMIC in the first place, so would expect the same on the other side.
Secondly I think you'd end up with an even longer pipe run that you would with a FMIC.

So would have though a FMIC would receive the best airflow and have the best piperun

it'll never work, ( easily that is) Also i thought from memory all the power steerign crap is on the near side, so it would'nt just be the battery to telocate. Plus you'll end up with more lag due to extra pipework, and lets not forget the biggie no ones mentioned. LCR owners upgrade to FMIC's. So in all honesty sell it on if you can and buy an FMIC. I still stand by the recomendation of the standard SEAT Fmic being the best there is.

Very true - its just I heard from the grapevine that all the Audi S4/RS4 owners were going back to Twin SMIC as they hold boost longer and shorter lag... I have no fog lights so air isn't a problem!

A FMIC is on the cards, just wondered tis all :D
