Leon is now booked in for a remap

as AMD are only down the road from me, it makes sense (like 10 mins literally!)

I was going to go to Jabbasport, but they are about 4 hours away, and if anything is wrong with the map, then it means I have to travel to them each time to get it looked at (unless a more general issue of course)

Can't wait for the car to be transformed, as all the stg3 modifications are in place now and have been for some time (JBS manifold being fitted along with the remap) - see siggie for current mods

I reckon a good 230bhp at least with 280lbft (AUQ engine):funk:

i think you're a bit hopeful with the torque... more like 240lbft tops

with a K03s?

seen many ibiza and leon boys get out more than 240lbft?

dunno, first ever map I have had, so I am sure you are right

You going ko3s now, not the Hybrid ko3/ko4 "thingy"

was going to, then not, due to family issue so needed the money, but might be now due to problem being sorted, still not too sure

all a bit up in the air really:confused:

i think im as disapointed as you as was quite looking forward to seeing how close to 300bhp the hybrid thingy could get.

ditto mate

I will prob do it at some point, but just for now, doing the remap. (it will sit in my bedroom for a while now!)

doing the remap is just cheaper, so will carry out the conversion later this year

its booked in for April, so only a month to wait:D

so if its in your room then it would only be a few hours lobour to put on with the mani and the map would cost the same as its custom so, go on slap it on you know you want to!!!

I agree with caveo! If you’ve got the turbo you might as well have it put on and have your car mapped with it, rather than do it in the future and pay for it to be mapped again! Go with the hybrid! I’m very interested to see what its capable of! :D

thats it mate lets tag team his ass!!! ( actualy that sounds wrong! )

you know it sounded different while typing then i read it back so added the bit in brackets. but anyway he should just bob the turbo on as the cost will be nowt much extra but the results .... better. plus if you up the power gradually you dont feel as much difference.

difference will certianly be noticeable, as still running the standard map

will give it a little thought. It's still some what an uncertianty as to the results it will yield, and I don't want to be disappointed

I was originally coming to the AMD Essex RR yes, but not sure, as its the gf's mums birthday...so difficult to get out of it, unless she is having a doo on the Sat night, in which case I will be able to attend.

if i show up then i will be going on the rollers...I am sure there will be space

Your thinking of going BIG turbo some time in the future arnt you cos you wanted 300 bhp and the hybrid may struggle ( i can read your mind dear boy )

feck, my powers are weak.....I have much to learn master

considering it at some point yes, will see how I get on with a custom map with all the mods in my sig...might be enough for now, but I know it wont be..:p

may go for a conservative GT28RS, but thats a few grand still (whole package), and I only bought the car for...well for not alot of money (mods in my sig almost add up to the amount the car cost me:D)

Me too , the turbo kit cost as much as the car but thats why its cool , you should see the look on scooby owners faces when my little black "taxi lookin" motor screams past...priceless!
