Fuel economy after a remap on a Mk2 FR TDi

Spins in 1st 2nd and 3rd occassionally in the wet. Seen the TC light in 4th, but that's off a wet corner, so could have been just load on inside tyre... ...... 1 and 2nd in dry will spin if pushed.

nope, just a lighter right foot!!

Tam, how much was the Revo map and did you get the switch etc, do you think there will be any problems with taking it to a dealer if you have any warranty issues in the future?

Just checked the cars computer and it has come up with 36.7mpg, still far better than the alternative.

All, at the moment on my 06 FR TDi i'm getting between 43-47 mpg (which is fine by me ) If i was to get a remap, in all honesty will that figure reduce much?

I really quite fancy the extra torque, but I can live without it if subsequently my economy will reduce greatly.

It can vary between 30 - 46mpg - its ALL dependant on your right foot !! keep to around 60 and you will see 40 - 42 use >3 digits and it will drop to around 30. Its very hard to drive slowly ALL the time!! and its the torque that really hits you. .....................................................
