seems very quick considering whats his name with the 260 bhp fabia vrs said about 5 seconds... ???

i'll try the 40 to 100 test later today.

I am glad you said that as I have rocked the boat enough this week with strugers and the 0 to 60 thread:lol:

without hammering my foot down, and reving to just over 4k in second (then changing to third) i achieved it in 7 seconds with traction control off.

I would asume with keeping at lower boost and reving it in 3rd would achieve it slightly quicker. with a standard 9+ second 0-60 time i would say 7seconds is fair enough as 2 seconds to 20mph is about right.

20 - 60 in 2nd/3rd = 6 seconds
40 - 100 in 4th = 11.5 seconds
40 - 100 in 3rd/4th = 10 seconds
50 - 100 in 4th = 9 seconds

once remapped it will good to see a direct comparison...

Also Devon's car is bound to be a fair bit quicker than 5 seconds

Might be, but having not timed it I can only go on estimates. :D Might to install the video camera in the car and do some trials late one night. ;)

PS: EVERYONE STOP CALLING MY CAR A VRS - It's only a "TDI" [B)]

Surely the 40 to 100 cant be right at 10 seconds.
That would give you something along the line of 14.5 to 15 second 0 to 100 without using 2nd gear? thought your car was standard.?

as far as i know its standard...

4th gear was 11.5, through the gears (3rd to 4th) was 10 seconds, maybe 10.5.

car does seem to pull much better since i used some millers.

The only car i have went up against was a BMW 320ci off the line, about half a car length in front to 55/60 then really pulled away from it in 3rd gear.

Have nothing else to compare it to.

maybe add a second on for speedo inaccuracy too, went to about 105 when i stopped the stopwatch.
will try and do a video of it.

Been using the stuff for the last 20 k and I know for defo that I cant get my leon to do 40 to 100 in 11.5 seconds. Sorry you cant be serious as a standard leon tdi 150 0 to 100 time is about 25 seconds.
Gonna try a 0 to 100 time myself which I expect to be around the 18.5/19 mark How is yours doing it in 15 standard?

A 320 ci has a sub 9 second 0 to 60 time so your car lets assume does it in 8.5 how does it get from 60 to 100 in 6 seconds.

i would like to see decent and clear videos to prove these times as so far the only evidence is talk. some of these figures have to be made up, but i'll be the first to issue an apology once the videos prove me wrong.

Not trying to stir it up again but these figures quoted by sfalcus are Aston martin/ 911 gt3 figures, all from a 150bhp leon? Not even mapped should be any where close to whats quoted- sorry

Try this if you can get access to a runway!
40 to 100 in fourth
Timed mine genuinely at 10.5 seconds
Good or bad?
Glynn

I am saying in 4th i am well over a second slower than you are claiming.

I know for a fact that the car wont do 0-100 in 15 seconds, and also, a std 320ci 0-60 is 7.9, according to parkers anyway...

911 gt3? hahaha

a CTR does 0-100 in about 16 seconds, a 911 gt3 will do it in 10 or 11

Well got to be honest with you I have messed up as its not from 40! Its form 60 to 100.
My error, going to try 40 to 100 but expect it to be around the 14/15 second mark and nowhere even close to 11.5
