Just went for a browse on the Auto Express website and found the following pics of the new MK5 Ibiza in possible 5 door FR guise...no disguise either

Mmmm... 1.8Turbo? I am a little surprised the 1.8Turbo has not made it onto the Leon range in the UK as it has for European models, especially as it's been available on UK Skoda Octavia's for a while now.

So was the mk4 when released when compared to a mk3. And still is compared to a mk3.
They stated they'd caught the 3 door testing. When they had a 5 door they tried to pass off as a possible FR prototype sans body-kit!!!!!

all you like cause he was slating the mk5 when he drives a mk4. Its the same difference mate. I prefer the look of the mk5 to the mk3 anyway.daveash

I honestly like it. Compared to the 5-door Mk4 its a huge improvement. The spy shots of the 3 door in Auto Express clearly show that it is virtually identical to the Bocanegra in body shape (you can see the roof line and the more prominent 'shoulders') so that will look even better. What Car mag did an article on it which spoke of how good the quality of materials in the cabin are, so improvement there too.
I'd never buy a 5 door cos they never look as good as the 3 doors, in any car, but this is pretty good, and the 3 door will be excellent.

I can't understand some people.How can you say that mk4 looks better than mk5.
I personally think that mk4 compared to the 5 looks like sh.t.Even cupra's look that way,compaired to the ordinary mk5

well said. He only likes cupras anyway all other models to him are crap.
Gonna have a word with the audi boys to see if I can get more news on the new updated 1.8T engine.

OK, did a very quick mock up of a 3 door FR, its probably not all that accurate, just wanted to get an idea of how it could look.
