no ideas like maybe its a totally different kit did either of you guys have to bore out the top mounts?

if you didnt and ran it without them slipping over then ill garuntee thats your problem, take em off bore em out and the noises heavy steering should be ok....

mines creak a bit both when im turning wheel and sometimes driving

but only had them on about a week or so, would this be normal? Probably just them bedding in

yep i had to bore mine out aswel, which cant be normal either.
A kit which has to be adjusted to fit the car

I still want to lower my ibiza but definatly going to buy a more well known kit eibach or the fk's. any problems with these makes??

Very honest eBay seller... Unfortunately doesn't sell good items

So i bought just COBRA lowering springs

Is it harder to fit coilovers to my ibiza 130 or is it easyer to fit shocks and spring dont no what to fit yet?Another thing do ya have to let the coilovers settle for a few weeks befor lowerin it to the right hight or dont it matter?

i think coilovers would be simpler, simply because with the front struts once you compress the OEM springs you would have to compress your lowered ones to go on the OEM strut, whereas coilovers are a complete unit.

as for letting them bed in, i think it would be the same principle with anything, if its new give it a while before you run havoc on it.

must admit tho u will ruin ur shocks in 20k with springs mate

id recomment uprated one's as when i was working in a garage i seen the shocky split right thro the bush.

The opposite is in fact true, "lowered" springs will be shorter and therefore probably/possibly not need spring compressors in order to mount to the shock.

Generally coilovers will still need assembling, although with the adjustment you can probably assemble without compressing the springs.

Not many of the coilovers, certainly not at the cheap end, are proper 2 1/4" parallel spring type, they may be for the first few inches of spring but will end up as a normal pigtail fat one. Generally this is hidden in the front wing so nobody knows

I'm not sure if any of the manufacturers have proper coilovers for the rear, everybody shows pictures of them in the adverts but irl I believe they all have the spring in the OE position off the shock. (would love to be corrected on this if anybody has a proper rear coilover).

Hi people!I have the same coilovers,in my Ibiza 1.4 16V,lowered 40mm and i have absolutely no problem.I m using them for about 15000klm and everything is fine!I even got the car in a track and no problem occured!Also here in Greece,roads are awfull and still dont have any problems.
I could say that its a pretty good coilover and really cheap!I have a 2 year warranty and if something goes wrong,the dealer will send me new ones!So,i think its a good choice!
