How do you change the speed warning on the MFD (bluetooth one) ive done it once when i had the car but it gets on my nerves now so i want to set it higher or turn it off but cant remember how, the manual refers to a configuration section on the MFD display looked everywhere cant see how it adjusts or turns off on mine

90% sure you do the following:

Go to the speed warning bit on the screen (scroll through the MFD MPG / Av MPG / Range / Distance travelled. etc.etc.)

When you get to the speed warning bit - pust the button on the bottom flat bit of the right hand stalk (not the end buttons) (think its the "ok" button)

It should then flash and you can use the end buttons on the right stalk to increase / decrease it - or turn it off completely.

Its one of those nice touches i love about the Leon. I've got mine set to 90 just in case i'm daydreaming when on the motorway! :-D

It's really useful when travelling through road works with a temporary speed limit and cameras in place or along a road that you know has a lot of cameras.

Stops you accidentially drifting over the limit.

cant hear the "ping" over the stereo ! lol

one good thing it does it slow me down when i get a call because you cant see whos calling you untill you are below your set limit or the display will show the warning message, if you get what i mean

YES ! - That is the most annoying part ... it overrides all the other display until you go under its limit again.

pisses me off, cos you cant see the time either.. and when you run out of fuel and have low fuel warning too, you cant see the time ! and cant manually clear the warning , you just have to wait and wait and wait untill it cycles back round ! imo the time should be constantly visible

Just set the cruise control to slightly below 50 and away you go!

It is telling you the time, time to get more fuel!

You can just press the "OK" button to get rid of the warning, it won't come on again untill you go below and then above the set speed. Then you can do whatever speed you want and still see the clock / MPG.
