If it was a elbow that was too small i can imagine why comments would be made but seeing as its 22mm ID it works out to 25mm OD which is exactly whats needed. Colour and material dont matter aslong as it works. If people wona buy more expensive products just for the look of it then more fool them
too right. Although myki i do have that chrome radiator spray for copper pipe that my dad dont need now. Will still be proud of my copper bend though just will be more colour coded
the internal diameter of a 22mm copper elbow is less than 22mm which could be a restriction for a dv .
the od is 24mm so like you say i guess it does the job. i was only mensioning an observation. not slatting, but as always it gets taken the wrong way.
not sure if your using an end feed elbow or not but if you are then a yorkshire elbow would be more up to the job as it has a bead on both ends...just like a boost pipe
hooch not a prob mate. not taking it the wrong way. lol. just messing with you mate. the ports on my dv are 32mm any way so have gain a bit towards the back. hense the reason for the massive dv. we did look at the yorkshire bends but i thought with the heat generated that the solder in them might have come out and gone down to the turbo.
mikey i polished it my self mate. didnt take all that long.
