What are the thoughts on this lower rear bumper spoiler / centre exit exhaust?

It's an official SEAT part - It actually fits to the centre section of an FR bumper. No spraying is involved.
Also includes a centre exhaust - original rear exhaust is cut, re-routed, then fitted with this neat centre exhaust tip.

A fraction under £300 all in - fitted. Not a bad price for quite a bold styling mod!?

Was almost going to book mine in to have it fitted, however it does require your Mk4 to have the facelift FR rear bumper. Unfortunately mine isnt, so it wont fit.

Certainly would stand out from the crowd / other Mk4's. :)

If no spraying is involved and its supplied in matt black how is the side bits on the add on colour coded yellow?

Also if you look at the distance between the licence plate holder and the top of the bumper on this pic and the cupra/fr bumper, the licence plate holder is sitting miles higher than a cupra bumper. (looks like a totally different bumper to me)

^^^ Hope ya took that stupid seat sticker off the window too. lol

LOL...very true. It makes the cars look tacky (first mod i think everyone does :) )

very true CJFR...i've been checking out cupra bumpers and they're exactly the same as the FR's. the first giveaway that i noticed was the matt black bits around the rear reflectors near the bottom of the bumper...so this leaves two options:

1. the example yellow beeza is for illustration purpose only, and the bumper doesn't actually look like that (slightly different)
2. the bumper comes as one whole part

...It's not an illusion, I was stood next to the guy when he placed it up against the rear bumper of an Ibiza on the forecourt! ;)

Note the new item reaches round just beneath the Fog lights on both sides - it doesnt extend right the way around the bumper to the wheel arches - it primarily fits the central location, where the recess is on an FR/Cupra bumper (that you will see is also not painted, but a standard black plastic colour).

When you actually see the part in the 'flesh' so to speak, it all becomes clear.

If i had the FR/Cupra bumper I would post up pics to illustrate, as I would have had it fitted without for sure.
The exhaust end is quite chunky and looks mental! lol.

Wouldnt mind it just to look different but £300? And it WILL need sprayed. Not sure about the FR back bumper but my cupra back bumper the insert is anthracite to match the rest of the cupra kit, so it will need sprayed to match so def not worth the money.

The rear black light part No. is wrong isnt recognised by the seat parts!

Thats cause the part number is from Seat.com. We need the part number from Seat.co.uk. They still dont do them over here unless you want ur fog light and reverse light the wrong way round

I have a Silver 2003 TDi Ibiza Sport and looking at post #42 i want that rear bumper, in that picture the bumper is silver the same as my car and then a darker colour where the number plate fits, what bumper is this??

Cant believe I'm having to justify this part that fits onto the rear of the Ibiza bumper! ...on either side of the central bit are like Two "wing" shapes that fit BENEATH the 2 reflectors at the bottom of the bumper. Believe me IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE SPRAYED!

Get off your lazy ar$e(s) and get down to SEAT yourself for a look at the item "in the flesh". :D I could go on explaining the part until the cows come home (lol), but some just dont appear to be able to grasp how it fits! lol

OK - I have outlined the shape of the spoiler in Red - It fits to the bottom of the existing bumper........ ;)
Rolf Harris.................. Can you see what it is yet?? :D

i think this is what we are trying to point out to you...seeing as you don't have an FR or Cupra it may be hard to notice...

unless if the 2 triangles going out to the sides go over the original bumper there is no way it can just slot in...modifications have to be made.

I think it's only available for facelift rear bumpers - non FR, non Cupra.

which would probably explain why they say on the SeatUK website that the kit is not suitable for FR

quoted from Seat.co.uk -> "Complete kit will not fit Cupra and FR - the rear bumper is not suitable for these models"

i only noticed when i clicked on the "full body kit" option...if you select just the rear spoiler there is no mention of compatability

Ibiza_130_tdi -> from your signature it looks like yours is the pre-facelift FR and should be compatible

Ah! Didnt notice that!

Bring it on for me then :) Was going to get a cupra rear and modify it a bit, but i could just get this and make it that bit better looking
