Throttle body problem?

Hello, For some time I've been having intermittent problems with the epc system on my 54 lcr. Every now and then the epc light comes on, sometimes with the traction control light as well. These are the fault codes that i get when I hook up the vag-com
17579 - Angle Sensor 2 for Throttle Actuator (G188) Implausible Signal
P1171 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17972 - Throttle Actuator (J338): Under-Voltage during Basic Setting
P1564 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
I've also had
18047 - Accelerator Position Sensor 1/2 (G79/G185): Implausible Signal
P1639 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
I have fitted a new pedal, that didn't fix it, today I fitted a new throttle body at great expense and on my way home epc and tc lights came on with just the angle sensor 2 fault code. The optimist in me likes to think that it is just a glitch in a brand new throttle body, the realist in me thinks bugger i haven't fixed it and perhaps i've got a wiring or ecu problem. I would be really grateful if anyone out there could throw some ideas at me.

ok problem still persists, time for a silly question. I suspect a wiring problem between the throttle body and ecu. Can anybody tell me where to find the ecu on an lcr?

Under the windscreen in the middle. Access by removing the plastic scuttle panel that the wipers mount through.

Hi just an idea, i had a similar problem with my ibiza cupra. Check ur battery terminals have a good connection, ie not rusty or lose. I got a panic on cos i had EPC, traction, and red warning light with a bleeping warning. worth a try if you havent sorted it out mate. Ricky

Did you ever solve this issue I am having the same problems and did the same as you I fitted a new pedal and throttle body, I now get that one code p1171

Have you done a throttle body allignment with VCDS? If not then you need to

Yep I aligned the throttle body when I fitted it

Maybe use VCDS to read the live data. See what values you have.

Check all plugs and connectors for corrosion.
