Guys bit of a strange one. When the cars idleing for a few minutes and starts to cool down i get smoke out the back, slightly tinted blue

Once the cars warm or on the go, no smoke at all, still boosting fine, pulling like a train. The turbo was re-conned about 5-6000 miles ago and has been let to warm up/cool down on every occasion.

Little confussed by the fact that its stops once warm and nothing when boosting???

what could it be?

i have the same issue, most likely the turbo seals letting oil through..thats what mine is (had it diagnosed about a billion times), oil builds up & then starts getting burnt, thats why when you rev it it comes out thicker, I assume if you take it for a long drive & park up leaving it running it will start to come out again?????

you can pick up a replacement k03 for next to nothing..

....could also be valve stem seals...

its a gt2x eliminator mate not a K03... will it die quickly if its the seals? really frustrating as its pretty newly re-furbed!

i have the smoke when i rev my car. sometimes dont and sometimes od. i think its more if i have just been driving.

hoping its turbo and not valve stem seals. i do have some oil in my intercooler. when i took the throttle body off the other day i noticed oil in it

thats what i thought. but i am puzzled. its thick but not thick........i will explain

i cant see it when im driving, but if i get someone to rev the car and im standing at the back i can. its like a little puff of smoke and clears up. it does smell rich as well(so my uncle recons) but i dont know

right, i'm half way through sorting the same problem, been told its either turbo ro valve stem oil seals, car is in bits at the min awaiting the valve stem oil seals to be done, as turbo isnt that old, i'll let you know what i find soon. hoping to have it done in the next 2 weeks, seems there is alot of guys with this problem now, must be fairly common

i went to seat, audi, skoda and vw asking about this problem, and the only ones with a proper answer were vw saying that they've had a few in with the same problem, and it was valve stem oil seals.
