just got the stubby shitreon aerial yesterday and have no reception issues so far. bargain price too, hope some sticky fingered person doesnt decide that they need it more than me now.

Bought one of these citroen aerials but I can't get my orginal off. It unscrews most of the way but it appears as if the nut holding it on is spinning. Tried putting plenty of pressure on whilst I unscrew it to hold nut in place ,but no joy.
Have I got a faulty aerial base or am I doing something wrong.

I had to make a tool to lever it off .

The tool was nothing fancy.
I used an old large blade screwdriver which I put a bend on at 45degrees just above the blade I then ground a slot in it to go around the thread. I used masking tape on the aerial base to protect it as I used it to lever off.

all i can say its a citroen part its bound to be crap... s2000 one should be much better due to being a honda part

I've got the S2000 aeial but it doesn't fit. The thread is too short. Any ideas?
