In my own little world.....
Hello Everyone!

Just like to introduce myself and say "Hi" over on "this side" of the forum, I've been lurking on the MK2 Ibiza side for 3 years and have finally sold her.. bit gutted...

BUT

Have just put a deposit on a MK1 05 Leon FR (In yellow of course) today and pick her up next week! :funk::funk:

Will be coming on here for any advice, tips etc and to find out what mods you guys have done to yours.

aww I remember the long wait between the Cordy going and the arrive of my leon..

anxious times..

You will be grinning when you get it hon.

Sorry Nyteshade seducing me again to the dark side again, i should be told off and spanked....
On a stock car their is no real general problems to worry about that you don`t get in the rest of the Seat range. Just the usual misting of headlights and odd rattle in the cabin really.

hey! i've got the same car, picked up about 2 weeks ago. you'll love the performance vs mpg!!!

on mine, i have to keep the seat at the lowest point possible otherwise theres a squeak on bumps from the cheapy plastics under and beside the seat.

depending on when your car was registered the warranty will be up or coming up. make sure you jot down all the warranty fixes and pop down to a dealer to see if they can sort these for you before it runs out. mines out at 01/09, im planning to get my mirror changed as its bubbled!

Thanks everyone :D

Ibiza went today, a sad moment - I'm now carless till Saturday.

Guessing the warranty has expired as is a March 1st 2005 car?

:funk: Already ordered some new FR badges of fleebay as the ones on the car are really faded - everyone we looked at the red was kinda pink.

very slippery indeed!

i know i really need to do my clutch first but can't get silicone hoses or new alloys out of my head....arghhh :)

Welcome to the dark side :)

He's here (apparently the BF said it's a he not a she)

And I love him (the car and the BF) :funk:

It's just a great drive, perfect for my driving style, the only problem I would say so far is reverse parking it - guess I will get used to it but had to get my BF to tell me how far I was away from his car.

Bf's out there giving it the once over now - bless him!

I still find it a bit tricky after nearly four years! Always further away than I think - not by much - as frightened of damaging that big rear bumper. The Honda's a doddle to reverse, so is the 306 (square back) and the wifes Civic is also quite easy to reverse park.

It is the Leon and not you so don't worry.
