Carbon fibre under tray cover & Battery Cover Fabrication?

Hi all

just came across this on the AGTI site, but it says it is only for the 225 LCR

just looking at pics of my bay, and it looks to be a pretty similar fitting....

what do you guys reckon?

look at the bottom of the inlet manifold, look a very similar shape apart from the bit that bends round on the right hand side which the inlet manifold cover does not have

on the lcr the intake comes out the other sideof the mani, hence the difference in shape. it may fit the cupra too though. if it doesn't you could probably sell it on for similar money? how much is it if you don't mind me asking?

I have just studied that picture and it wont fit actually, as the dipstick will get in the way, DOH!

I think it was around £40

you've got an LCR though i got both covers

forge do them for the cupra, i think. rikh had some, but sold them

on another forum members car now, after i de-carbonned my engine

never seen another 1 though

pure chance i found it, from a member on here
never ever seen another one though, it was a full piece identical match to the 180/150 engine manifold

When I saw the title of this thread, Carbon fibre Inlet manifold, I thought, wow, how do they do that? A manifold of carbon fibre. Never seen that.

Man, was I disappointed.

found a company who specialise in making custome CF parts, asked for quotes on the battery cover and the lower manifold cover............
