Are you saying a stock bonnet isn't that much heavier than the carbon one or have i read that wrongly??

I think he is saying that if the carbon one weighs about 15kgs, then with std one is about that.

The carbon one on mine is much lighter than the std one. I would say about a 1/4 of the weight.

I was just about to say that i saw one at GTI International on the backdraft motorsport stand so it might be worth asking them but then i saw IbizaAlex's sig and i think thats the same car so it might be worth just asking him!

Nope, never said that. chrisdaman asked how much lighter the carbon bonnet is compared to the standard bonnet and i replied with 10-15kgs. It's a guess but i'm confident my guess wouldn't be far off the mark.

And Alex was saying that his cf bonnet weighs 1/4 what his standard bonnet weighed and i agree.
