basically, it means don't go spamming just to build posts up (until youre a fully pledged member like me 
)
check the non-cupra thread! Quite a long read, but you can get some ideas.
I have a black mk3, 1.4 - .cool/s my mods are:
15" Alloys - £60 from a mate
Cupra Shocks - £20 from a member (may cost more, but check for sale section)
Jamex Lowering springs (lowered 40mm) - £75ish off eBay IIRC
full window tints with matching sun strip - £150 - £200 IIRC
Colour coded front bumper trim - about £15 for a few tins from Halfrauds
LCR splitter - £20 from Stealers (cheapest place - avoid eBay)
tinted rear lights - £10 for a tin of tint spray from Halfrauds
HIDS - £45 from Diane Shop on eBay - Bargin of the year and a must have! (check link in my sig)
matching side lights and number plate lights - about a tenner from UltraLEDS
DTM Mirrors - approx £40 from eBay
Sub & Amp - £60 from a mate
Autochanger - £150 from Halfrauds (I was young and naive at the time)
Debadged rear - Costs nothing
Badgeless front grille - about £20 from eBay
Exhaust - Free (was my younger brothers old one sitting in the shed)

BTW: Induction kits are a waste of time. Saves you asking later

wow, you must have the unique model..
there was once this other guy who said he had a sub under his back seat too.
it's well worth connecting the HU to this sub, though you may find that most of your audio enjoyment will be done while a) sat on your drive b) wondering where all the bass has gone
dont bother with much to do with the engine mate, get it looking and handling right, wheels and coilovers would be a good start.
i laughed at this fella when he said he had a sub under the rear passanger seats (in the non cupra thread).
where the hell would it fit ?? the fuel tank is under the rear seats, and the rear padding on the seats is not thick enough to have a sub.... plus where is the box ?
of wait a second... is this 'sub' the little circle underneath the drivers side rear passanger seat ? if it is... thats to get in to the fuel tank
also our HU does not have a sub out, so......
where the hell would it fit ?? the fuel tank is under the rear seats, and the rear padding on the seats is not thick enough to have a sub.... plus where is the box ?

Ahhh, that explains a lot. Partly why there was almost no Bass when I turned the radio on. Much soz for being a newb. I looked through the side window at what looked like a small circular... something and the kid that was cleaning the car over said 'Thats a sub-woofer.' Thats what you get for trusting a true newb
Maybe I should actually get my car before I start saying what it has and hasn't got....
