i have just noticed that my inlet manifold cover is missing, it was in the boot of the car when i picked it up and i didnt know what it was now i know after looking at your pics and i cant find it now do you still have your standard one

mine was misssing, apparently a few owners dont even realise there should of been a little cover there....i didnt lol....i had mine almost from new like yourself too
 
it shouldnt do any damage it not being there should it? i gues its more to protect the wires and connection than anything else ?
 
ats the most you reckon i would get withought changing the turbo ?

realistically 260-270bhp and similar torque on a standard K04

with hybrid treatment, maximum 320bhp. JBS quote 340 but I dont think that is at all stable on a k04 turbo even if it has got uprated internals

you will also need uprated injectors possibly, Bigger downpipe, race cat, FMIC etc to achieve a sustainable 300-320bhp across the rev range
 
well 260/270 will be nice considering i have just come out of a 1.4 corsa lol cheers for the help its good to speak to someone who knows what theye are talking about.

You'll get 270 no probs with a TIP, Good Filter, Good Exhaust (Dp, Cat, Rear) and a **** hot Stg2 map.

TIP = Turbo Intake Pipe

the pipe which goes from the induction kit down to the turbo

the standard pipe is very restrictive, and the TIP is a lot larger all the way through, allowing larger amounts of air to reach the turbo....bascially equals more power, quicker spool of the turbo and boost to be held for longer
