Rear wiper blade ibiza 07 reg

I need to new rear wiperblade for my ibiza but halfords dont seem to stock them ???

Can I only buy on efrom the dealer. I'm not after a conversion kit to change the blade or wiper.

Does anyone know if you can buy one at a reasonable price rather than paying dealer rates if so from where ?

You can get one from WiperBlades.co.uk. Not expensive.

that's weird. if you search for a 2004 ibiza(mines) it has the rear wiper for that. don't know if there different or not. someone will say.

Mmm.I've just seen that.It's not giving you any of the good front Bosch ones either.

I guess is it's because the fitment changed on the facelifted model?.I'd be surprised if they don't have the right one for you in stock.
Maybe you should put your details on the 'Can't find what you want?' bit.I'm sure they'll have it.
Anyone on here know?.

To be honest, the standard wiper is crap anyways and will not improve when you change it.

Vag Parts - They sell a VW Polo one for about £15 which is an arm and an aero blade, it's been faultless on my car for about 40K now and was much better than the original even when I replaced it.

I, and I'm sure many others recommend the Polo wiper option.

Yep - I've slung the rear wiper from my facelift and put a Polo one on - miles better!

Are they easy to replace/convert then ?? If these are better than the seat ones I might aswell change it as the dealer will prob charge £15 just for the blade ?

there's a bit of trimming needed to the cap - no big deal though

it's pretty self explanatory once on the car - you just need to stop the cap hitting the glass - you just need to trim it with a sharp knife

I've just been in touch with the dealer who advises the rear blades come in 2 different sizes of a 340 mm cost £5.41 and a size of 343mmcost £14.66.....Does anyone know which one I wil need for the ibiza 07 reg I have a nasty feeling it'll be the more expensive one !!

Cant help you out with sizes, could always measure your existing one, but -

That's an expensive 3mm of rubber! £9 of a difference for 3mm

After a momumental carry on being told from wiperblades.co.uk and halfords that the rear blade for the ibiza is a dealer only part I decided today to bite the bullit and go and buy from the seat dealer.

The parts manager came out looked at my car after I told him what I was being told and he said it's just a standard 13 inch blade he chnaged it there and then cost £3.51 all sorted and the best news is he said he also sells factory fitted blades for both driver and passenger sides which will cost under a £10 for the pair..

hi mate i agree click ont he ibiza one on vagparts i have had 2 of them and neither needed trimming at all! its one 13mm ratchet that u need then pull it off might need a little bit of pueswading (how ever u spell it) really easy and looks so much better than the stock one!
