stiff clutch after motorway driving????

hi guys,

basicly i get a slightly stiff clutch when driving along a motorway for 30miles ect and when i come of the slip road and put the clutch down to change down the clutch is a bit stiff? but it goes after a couple of presses? any ideas?

I have the same never really given it much thought to be honest because it have never stopped me from selecting the gear that I'm after. Would be interesting to know why it is tho.

ive always had that... i think its just where your left foot hasnt been on the clutch for a while... the muscles in your leg relax???

I had the same problem recently...turned out, my non-VW mats were slipping up towards the pedals and getting stuck under them!!
