i'm missing gears more often than not... so i'm thinking of gettin a short shifter to ease my driving experience.

been on the Forge website and they stock such.
is there any other companies that makes such in which it'll be cheaper?

thanx,
RodneyA

The more expensive one that most people would tend to go for adjusts/shortens the "throw"or front to back movement and the other which says side will adjust/shorten the sideways movement:D

short shift for leon fr550 mk2. is it worth it? is it a cheap but good mod?

can it be diy or is it a dealer job?

and forge is the best? i guess by installing the short shift it means the warrentry will the bust?

but will be that little bit more fun and faster. be nice to add mod to the 'list' which is blank at the moment.

Car was ordered from Rutherford of Earlston.

Great guys to deal with.

pass there quite regularly, now the bridge at jedburgh is open at weekends!

anyway, back on topic. get the quickshifter and give us your opinion.

time yet my friend! need more votes before i spend money. dunno if its really worth it yet. more info needed.

Fitted the Forge short shift to mine a couple of years back (just the forward back throw). The beauty of it is that it is adjustable and can be adjusted in situ. Fit and have a play at various setting until you get the length that suits you. Absolutely no problems, easy to fit, great instructions, definitely DIY............. go for it with confidence.
