OEM is good, subtle is good but invisable?...get your point though, i would like mine to look standard from a distance but up close i wanna see that weave...subtle but purposefull i suppose

you can get coloured carbon fiber although it isnt technically carbon iv seen on golfgti forum some of the mk5 boys have silver carbon bonnets i will go and see if i can find a link

me too but you have to watch how far you take the carbon theme before it gets tacky, i mean how much weight is actually saved with the mirrors?...maybe 1 gram, with a bonnet its substantialy more..

two different things entirely bud, i just mean how can the government or whoever allow something to be sold if it has the ability to shred you in half in a 40mph accident?...im not disputing what you know, just seems a bit weird...

goverment must be right then. ;) we can only hope they did more research on cf bonnets than current banking practice.

Carbon Fribre tailgates are worthwhile too, removes loads of weight but not sure if you can get one for the Leon. Was easy for Honda's, they only have a tiny tailgate so could pick up direct OEM carbon replacements fairly cheap. Not sure the carbon scene has hit SEAT yet, most bits would have to be made from scratcg, ££££££ :(

I like the idea of these roof skins though. Sadly not to fit a leon.

I agree, the subtle look you want would be very nice :)

I think it was the Pagani Zonda's that used a light coating of paint so up close you can see the weave, looked great.
