Big Turbos for newbies

Is there a write up on here laying out really basic options when looking at big turbos?

I'm talking really simple stuff like:

The turbos used
expected bhp/torque gains from each
A very rough idea on cost.

I have a stage 3 mapped Audi TT at the mo. Lots of the basics like fmic, downpipe, sports cats etc are fitted. With correct fuelling it could make 280bhp? I dunno never got a reliable figure....

I guess what I'm really asking is what do you need to do to make 300bhp, 330bhp or 350bhp? etc

Is a hybrid an option? Do alot of stop start driving so huge lag is not appealing.

ko4 hybrid is an option for relatively low cost but i'd pay the extra and go for a turbo capable of 350bhp which wouldn't be too laggy.Budget for 4-5k though and possibly an uprated clutch, other option is to buy one already done like mine;)

Mate what do they do for £4k-£5k of my hard earned cash then other than destroy my oem clutch lol

That's alot of money. What's included? I appreciate that a huge amount of this is labour.

Even after experience the brute power of yours Sam its a lot of money to plough in to a 7 year old car with 60k on the clock.

I can see why people do it, but I can see why ppl dont have the pocket or ballls to follow it through.

You will not get a mk2 340hp for tt+4-5k would you

how much is a mk1 TT? 10 grand? 12 grand gets you a mk2 cupra. another 2 grand gets 340hp.

Money well spent imo unless you really do want a high powered TT.
