when I had my 1.4 all I did was eibach springs, pi shocks, and cupra 16" multispoke wheels.. all fairly cheap.

If you're not in the position to get hold of one of the faster models (TDi 150, Cupra or Cupra R) then how about putting some Cupra Side Skirts and Bumpers on? Maybe then some Starfish Wheels, they look good with a drop...nice and OEM.

You forgot the Max Power book on the parcel shelf..................oh yea, and neons !

Bit stereotypical ey? just cos im 17 and cant get insured on a faster model, no need to judge, and the mods i have on my car are on many of the cars on this website.

How do mate,

Generally would recommend an induction, lowering, upper and lower strut braces, thats what i have on my 1.6 along with other bits!

Colour coding looks good as well.

Agreed that we need to stick together, although £200-£250 is a very low estimate.

Unless your lucky with a garage, I reckon your looking £350 upwards for a colour code.

Be careful with inductions, some people have had trouble with the "oiled" filter type, iv had a quikshift stainless mesh one on for nearly a year, had no problems.

Well i paid £185 for a colour code, so just play the body shop lottery!!

The Leon is a good looking car, so i'd concentrate on some styling. Like I mentioned above, look for the LC bodykit from the 02 > 05 facelift Cupra's/FR's, looks much better IMO that colour coding pre-facelift bumpers. Then drop it and maybe go for a Euro flavour on it.

Thanks for the replys guys, gonna look into getting it coulour coded, call round a few garages, and keep an eye out for some bumpers.

Anyone actually got an induction kit they would reccomend?

My mate has this K&N one.... here

But i am told the Green one is better... induction cone kit

replacement panel filter kit

Green one is better because it wont use nasty oils... but K&N being K&N will probs give a better boost... but it won't really do a lot any way, as its a tiny engine and would need a new exhaust to get the most out of it, or so I was told when I had my 1.4 Fiesta.

No worries mate, you may benefit from buying new rub strips (you can get them smooth) as mine were textured and had to be sanded down, also got slightly damaged when they were taken off.

My reason for doing it was that i basically costed up the whole cupra/cupra r kit option an it just was too expensive, as we do have to remember we only have small engines and will be moving onto bigger ones soon!!
