full turbo back exhausts

anyone running turbo back with decat and no centre box blueflame system??

not sure weather to order with or without centre box??

pros and cons???

whats the difference going to be with and without??

or the piper system.

maximum performance Nev, but its going to be noisey.
Less of a noise issue with the piper system as the exhaust pipe from the cat flange is only 2.5 inch as oppossed to 2.75 inch BF and piper don't run a center silencer as standard.
IMHO Piper is the way to go.

i have a mate thats a blueflame dealer so going that way as i get a good deal, i def want a decat but its weather to go for centre box or not,

i also have to consider track days and noise limits.

im expecting my dp and decat to be delivered before weekend and getin it fitted on saturday. i can let you know what i reckon of it but if its anything like cat back im sure itl be ace.

i didnt know there was an option to have this centre box thing. wot is standard or wot have i ordered?

well its standard with box but nigel at BF can do them without centre box ive found out but doesnt promote it,

ye if you can let me know about noise, im not bothered on the road but just for track, spent loads sorting my clio cup exhaust as it was over noise regs, dont want to go through the same again.

mike is very helpful has emailed me saying that he got onto nigel who had advised delivery before weekend.

so is box there to replace the actual cat bit of the pipe but just there to muffle the sound more than just a stright pipe?

you have the centre box on yours at the mo, should have 2, the back box and centre.

its there for sound,

I know its not the same Nev, but i have had the diesel centre pipe fitted on my LC which is straight through just have the back box and the noise is negleable just a little more rumble and for £20 you cant go wrong.

Im running piper down pipe Decat and only a miltek back box my car is pretty loud but is way under the 96 DB that they hav limit at donnington.
mine pops a lot and spits flames ive been told.

never raced myself

No they didnt give me the reading but it was below the max at donny

my exhaust is really a straight thru system with a backbox on it .

aint that loud really

thats cool, i had a mongoose system on my FRS and that only had a back box and wasnt to bad.

not sure about track regs though coz it is very loud, like properly loud. louder than i expected it to be. but it didnt have the centre box on you were on about it was just a straight pipe.

the only muffler box is the one right at the back - the err back box otherwise its a straight pipe.

not too loud at lower revs but on boost its awesome.
