I have the 6k 55w (uk seller) and previously the 35w 6k (from diane shop) Diane shop are crap at after sales support, and the fact they are in Hong Kong means it takes ages for a replacement. Do yourself a favour, spend an extra tenner and get them from a UK seller. Im 99% sure all the kits from all the sellers are identical, just different label/box.

I wouldn't want more than 6k on roads tbf. I know you don't get the best effect with non projection headlights, but driving around with bright blue lights, just shouts "I'm a cheap aftermarket kev"

Headlights shouldn't be blue, they should be white!

Oh, and I wouldn't recommend using 35w bulbs with 55w ballasts for obvious reasons!

Mine are 6k, had them on for about 2 years now, bought from Dianne Shop on eBay, couldn't praise them enough (about £40).

Passed 2 MOT's & really light up the road, without causing blindness to others (never been flashed/stopped etc).

Mine are pure white with a hint of blue when warming up. I wouldn't goto 8k as the light starts to disperse more at 8k, which isn't a good thing (especially when not having the correct reflectors !)

Sorry to go off topic, but, as people say that they don't need to use their full beams anymore, does anyone have the 80 or 100w bulbs for full beam now as they don't need to be left on?

I dont understand why people don't need there full beam now, my full beam still adds a lot more vision over the HID's, surely if the beam is set right the lights should still shine the same distance in effect. Only thing I find is signs are illuminated from a further distance.

Same as mine, they look like they are dimply lit and broken :roflmao:

The difference between the dipped/main is so great i have no use for high beam.

I also know the roads extremely well, and could drive on the fog-lights to be fair (obviously i don't)

Looks like you got the same ballasts as me, your warranty doesn't sound very hopeful :(

Just off to reply to your thread about the crackling.
