Also me and my dad decided to have a go ourself at modifing the rear lights. also i decided to debadge the rear aswell.

The front bumper is currently being sprayed and i will fit it saturday after work then all thats needed is d/s headlight. :D
BTW does anyone no how i could get my hands on a seat cupra rear window sticker please???

looks nice, how much is it lowered by? have you thought about colourcoding the wing mirror covers?

The back end dropped just over 50ml and the front didnt drop much as it was quite low to start with. and tbh i havnt really thought about colour coding YET ;)
annd yes they are ment to be sealed units, but my dad cut the top layer off and took the red backing out and then sealed it back up. only took about 1hour and half once we found out how to do it :D

The Car is now finished, just needs tax, testing and a vic test aswell as insuring.
just bought a new set of rear lights as the 1s we modified were abit messy but for £49 cant aruge with that. will upload pics as soon as my own computer is working

i will upload pics soon of the finsihed project. i have just pruchased a 6inch oval exhaust and have my test booked in a few weeks. how ever does any 1 have any tips for me on how to insure the car as i cannot find a quote at a reasonable price. i keep getting qutoes of atleast 8k. any comments welcome.

awesome bargain, my 2002 1.2 cost me next to £3000 and u have got a newer model for a fraction of the proce, good work. Dont like the new rear lights, just my opinion as i hate all lexus style work, anyways top work.

ye, its lucky because i didnt pay any garage bill, which saved me a lot of money. i dont usually like the lexus lights how ever i prefered them to the red ones but thanks :)

i have just lowered mine now aswell, bought all 4 springs for £31 :D the back end dropped just over 50ml
looks loads betta now, not much left which needs doing now :)

do you mind me asking where you got them so cheap??

BTW brialliant effort on the car and all before you've started driving! good luck with the test, i still have nightmares from mine. o jesus i wont forget that. im still paying massive insurance for it.:cry:

i found them on ebay, was a while back now. i passed my test in august, but the car was finished a while before that. the insurance is awful, but its all worth it at the end of the day :D thanks dude

Abit late i no, but i sold the car in june last year as i had an accident, and i just lost interest in it. now have my self a 1.6 focus which is coming along just great :) do miss my ibiza though just wish i treated it with more respect :(
