Fitted a black bonnet... opinions....

Well last week i give rogers a ring and seen if i could borrow his old black bonnet, as my plan is to go carbon

Any who, so i fitted the bonnet, and i personaly do like it... i think... haha

Whats your thoughts on it?

It looks photoshoped but it was just about 7 layers of polish and wax...

Certainly looks interesting, but will always look a cheap CF wanabe!? Could always get the roof black aswell which looks part of a theme then? And sort that poor splitter out, looks terrible!

I'm with Riko, it looks interesting and a black roof would look well too, I think you would also have to paint part of you bumper black too ie the two silver bits either side of the badge ... just my two cents

no it looks ****, trust me i'm honest and i have pretty good taste...that looks absolutely rubbish

arctic grey and black hardly complement each other as two tone...then theres the fact you've got colour coded bump strips. i mean it wouldnt look so bad if the bonnet wasnt the only black panel...but as it is it looks like you just couldnt be arsed to have it painted. i could go on but i wont other than personally i thin cf bonnet only looks good on these with flash red

change it back immediately please! for your own sake and get the splitter screwed up in the centre as soon as possible cos that just brings the whole car down

With carl on this one, just looks like youve bumped the OE bonnet and put a replacement on and havent had it painted yet.

On the other hand, a carbon bonnet would look good.


And i thought Rogers wants that bonnet back.

i need a bonnet for my car as it flipped up and hit the screen i went to tha meet yesterday spoke 2 rogers he said he had a spare can you let me kno which 1 you keep then m8 if you dont mind i need 1 asap cheers, im after a carbon 1 to but not goin 2 pay 550 for 1 unless there is a group buy soon

Looks really good ryan, Im looking out for a black ibiza on ebay when someone is breaking one for a black bonnet. I want to go the carbon fiber route aswell with the mirrors, spoiler and bonnet done. looks really good!
