So let me get this right,

They essentially just hold your waist into the seat better, stops your weight shifting left and right as you turn. But still allows your upper body to move.

They look quite expensive though.....

Yes that's what they do - if you're on the M1 or the M6 for 8 hours a day it's not worth it .... if you're doing a lot of fast B road driving you'll love it. I like that if i stand on the brakes or yark on the wheel I don't slide about.

They are really worth the money.

as its been said i dont like being in cars without them fitted now.

nice cheap track mod aswell hold you in so well. that you dont need harnesses

Hi!
We'd love to set up another group buy for you lot! Can the admin person get in touch with us? [email protected].
We have a better version launched now too... see the website!
Thanks
Graham

Hi!!
Could you please let me know who the Admin person is and I can discuss this with them... we can set this up in a few hours as long as we get the Admin OK and a 'sticky' that doesn't get buried! :)

I have 1 of these in one of my cars. I really like it and it works very well. I wouldn't say they work as well as a harness so for track-day use, I still have harnesses. But for driving on roads where you need to lean forward to look properly at junctions etc - they work very well.

I also leant mine to some friends so they could see what they were like before buying. A couple bought them, only one didn't and that was because of the seat belt being positioned low, the CG-lock risked marking his interior - but his was the only car with this problem (an S2000)

I found mine worked best when I had a shed of a company car for a while, one that handled like a boat..... without the CG-Lock I was risking scrapping my face against the side windows while going around round-a-bouts! ;)

Hello there.

Check out the last post in my RR thread (click on my sig below) for my experience of the CG Lock.
It's on the last page, post 47.

:)

CG Lock

Hello all,

I wasn't too sure where to post this but seeing as I've got a LCR it'll do until a mod wants to move it.

Anyway, I'm considering getting one of these CG Lock seatbelt devices.

Has anyone got any testimonials for this product?

Is it worth the money?, Is is as effective as the manufacturer makes out?

Thanks.

I've got one on my Lotus, it works great on holding you in the seat.

Well worth the money, we had two fitted when we went the Nurburgring, awesome bit of kit. Held you firmly in the seat and gave you more confidence to take those corners.

I had one of these in my Evo, and it not only worked well on track, it also made long road journeys more comfortable and less likely to cause back ache. In fact, the CG Lock was one of the few extras I had in the Evo which I kept to use in my Leon.

Nice one, thanks for all the answers!

I've decided to go ahead and get one.
