Chaps,
Checked this car tonight and there were 2 faults listed on VAGCOM
Address 01: Engine Labels: Redir Fail!
   Part No: 6K0 906 032 AB
   Component: 1.8L20VTCUPRA R 0001

Coding: 11500

Shop #: WSC 00000
2 Faults Found:
17963 - Charge Pressure: Maximum Limit Exceeded
            P1555 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
18010 - Power Supply Terminal 30: Voltage too Low
            P1602 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Readiness: 0010 1001
When we logged the car, it became clear that there has been some sort of remap put on there at some point. Peak boost logged was 1 Bar before it dropped to limp mode.
The car has had the N249 bypass, a new N75, a new MAF and a new lambda probe. The coilpacks have not yet been checked however.
Fault codes are listed as follows according to wiki.reoss-tech.com
17963/P1555 - Boost Pressure Control: Upper Limit Exceeded
Possible Symptoms
Reduced power output
Limp mode
Possible Causes
Boost Pressure too High
Hoses/Pipes incorrect connected, disconnected, blocked or leaking
Charger Pressure Control defective
VNT (variable nozzle turbo): nozzles stuck
Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75) defective
Possible Solutions
Check Hoses/Pipes to/between Components
Check Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75)
Check / Clean / Replace Charge Pressure Control
Check / Clean mechanism for variable nozzles

and
18010/P1602/005634 - Power Supply B+ Terminal 30: Voltage too Low
Possible Causes
Cables on the Battery were removed
Battery weak (voltage)
Generator Disfunction
Possible Solutions
Check Battery Cables
Check/Replace Battery
Check/Replace Generator
Special Notes
If multiple Control Module have Power Supply Faults stored, it's most likely to be one common
Problem like the ones shown above. Otherwise when only one or two Control Modules have such Codes stored you better start searching at the individual Power Supply of these Modules.

A quick check with the Revo Select Plus box saw it pick up what could be a Revo remap, but the settings were Boost 247, Timing 9 and Fuel 9. Not being familiar with Revo settings on a 1.8T, I did not interfere with it, but is it possible this is normal? If so, what should it be set at using Select Plus? I know that the TFSi cars are set for boost between 1 and 9 where normal boost is approx 6, timing is 6 for super unleaded fuel and fuelling set at 9.
Ta,
