Bill, this is what i actually posted in jamiebennetts topic a while back.
Change the units to psi for a start, so you know what your looking at, i use this more than my boost gauge now, it will tell you
how to do it in the manual posted below.
What i would do is start with the Set at about 50% (set is wastegate duty) and the gain at 0 or the lowest it will go. Then put your start boost at about 12psi. Start boost is when the control takes control, ive never worked out why they say to put the start boost close to your desired boost, i always seem to spike that way.
Now you'll probably hit around 13-15psi i reckon for this, then just adjust the Set boost upwards and see what it spikes to. You might find it doesnt spool that quick, in this case raise the start boost up.
For me the gain did nothing apart from causing my boost to fluctuate. If your boost does go up and down along the rev range then play with the gain, if it doesnt leave it at the lowest setting.
I find the only two i play with is the set and the start boost.
My settings are:
High boost:
Set: 83%
Start Boost: 14.5psi
Gain: 5% (the lowest)
Warning 24psi
Limiter: 4%
This gives me a spike of about 23psi and holds around 12-13psi at redline.

In the manual they say to have your start boost close to your desired boost but i always found it would spike like crazy at this value.
