ECU Remap for Leon MK2 FR TSI?

hi there. Currently running Seat Leon FR 2.0 TSI 200PS DSG and was wondering if it is perfectly safe to get an ECU stage 1 remap carried out on it without damaging the DSG gear box?
Anyone any information on this. Would be really appreciated.

Yes, absolutely no problems at all. there are plenty of cars running over 350hp with a DSG gearbox.

Of course if it does go it's very expensive to fix. But just a remap on an FR should be fine.

It dpends what you want from the car? performance or handling, or both? and also your future plans for the car.

Would this also apply to the new face lift TDi FR with DSG, or would the increased torque be to much?
