dv problems on cupras

Has anyone had problems with dup valves on cupras with or without a remap?

Got a bluefin fitted, and was wondering if it is worth upgrading to the improved oem one to prevent any future problems on mine?

i had a problem on my lcr after remap as standard dv wasnt holding boost pressure so was goin into limp mode

If the cars under warranty and you do get probs then they should fit a revised one. You can get it in the link below at the bottom of the page.

Thats if they don't spot that its mapped. Its not that much money to buy yourself though.

I was talking about Mk2 cupras, hence posting it in the mk2 forum.

I would say it should be fine, and only replace the DV if you are having troubles.

Good advice, or spend £40 on one for piece of mind, an order the "D" spec valve (last part number is D on the spring valve rather than C on the original Diaphragm valve).
