1.4 engine mods

Your 1.4 is never going to be fast!! By the time you have modded it, the insurance will be up to that of a 2.0 8v (standard) unless you're not going to tell them, and then you won't be insured!!
So in effect all the money you waste on your 1.4 making it louder and no quicker you could have saved to buy a gti.
