Even the trunk button worked.....Great but can u tell me the way to do it... i would be grateful...
yup, it is luck if it works or not tho! it might have woked on mine but its not 100% sure it will work on yours!

swop the trasponder from your spare key into the flip key, put your original key into ignition and turn it but not start it put new flip key into the drivers door lock it then press the unlock buttton for 7 ish secs u might hear a beep and u may not but (i didt hear one and all 3 buttons worked!)
umm i dropped my key, and now it doesnt work with the buttons, when i opened it up their was like a rectangle chip bit rattling around, SEAT want £80 to fix it, any idea wether this will work for me to change it into a VW flip key????
i dare say this has been asked before, but im watching 2 different keys on eBay, one ends in AH the other DA, the rest of the numbers are identical, does it make any differance between AH and DA??

i only have one key with a chip, my spare key doesnt have anything inside it. its just a blade that open doors and starts engine?

Sure there is a immo chip inside the "dumb" spare key too.
If there wasn´t the car would not start, would it?
The two halves come apart when you insert a thin blade between them and pry gently.
The immo chip is attached inside with some glue.

well i did think that but i cracked it open and there seems to be nothing in there..??
theres a gap for it but nothing there?

does the spare defiantly start the car because unless the immobiliser has been bypassed it must have a transponder inside if it does?

does anybody know if there is anything different between the model numbers ending AH and DA??
Just a quick question ive got a 3 button key and it works fine but the 3rd button (Boot) button doesnt do anything now this doesnt reall bother me
but some people have said it works with theres,wot does it do? does it open the boot?

correct me if im wrong but i believe it just unlocks the boot rather than opens the whole car, similar to the unlock button on the remote (click once to unlock the drivers door, twice whole car) the boot doesnt ping open just click that button and the boot unlocks leaving the rest of the car locked.
