i looked into this when i got my dv and forge themselves told me i wouldnt really need a yellow spring.

they use one of these recirc valves with a green spring on a 400bhp rs4 or summat. if itl do for an rs4 itl do for me.

car has been on the rollers a couple of times and car is boosting fine.

The rs4 have biturbo and two DV's, so they only handle 200 hp each.. which is similar to a stock lcr.

So I popped in the yellowspring last night, maybe Im going mad but it just seemed to accelerate smoother and with more torque? The dv noise was very sharp/abrupt. I am happy for the sake of £10 it seems to make a difference and I would definately recommend getting one to any remapped LCR in my very humble opinion. Cheers

I took my DV out at the weekend to give it a quick health check as i was looking at this thread.

With the yellow spring in, it was very hard to manually push in the piston part. And when released, it didn't move that much at all.

Is the boost pressure a lot stronger than i am?

Last time I did that test I used my finger instead of the bottom of a pencil, and I didnt have any problems doing that.
