It is very rich after 4960rpm.

Rough bhp calc is MAF * 1.25 = 207.5bhp or some people say MAF * 1.3 = 215.8bhp. Either way its fine for stage 1 map.

Just need the fueling looked at.

very dubious on 232 on stage 1.... 50 hp increase over stock on generic map.. will quotes 210 for stage 1, could be a dyno lottery moment that. i had mine dynod at wills to 234 on stage 2 with supporting mods.

id be looking at the blueflame mate.... is it decat?

No mate. Mine was mapped with standard exhaust, the Miltek turbo back was added at a later date. No extra mapping required.

hmmmh, usually stage 2 mods are tb exhaust and mapped to adjust to the extra airflow...

from wills mouth on this one.

im swaying towards the dp and cat causing eml on lambdas and running rich as a result of this?

James, the epc light comes on after 100-200 miles or so,fault code says its the lambda sensor, due to the free flowing uprated exhaust,so i'm told,

address 01: Engine
Controller: 06A 906 032 MJ
Component: 1.8L R4/5VT 0003
Coding: 11510

16804 - Catalyst System: Bank 1: Efficiency Below Threshold
P0420 - 35-00 - -
Readiness: 0000 0000

A damaged lambda could be causing the fueling problems.....

So you could actualy have a damaged lambda and thats why its throwing a code, not because of the exhaust..

Possible Causes
Leakage in Intake and/or Exhaust System
Catalyst faulty
Oxygen Sensor(s) faulty
Oxygen Sensor(s) Control faulty
Possible Solutions
Check Intake and Exhaust System for Leaks
Check Catalyst
Check Oxygen Sensor(s)
Check Oxygen Sensor(s) Control
Perform Oxygen Sensor(s) Aging Check

i would say, the cat is causing it to run rich, due to ecu recognising eml on the lambda. have this mapped out on stage 2 and i would bet that will sort it mate.

maf will be fine, just the lean(ness) and high ish timing pull to sort.... of which both could be related mate?

or that one.. can run logs on the lambda on vagcom, to see if working properly can you not?

so either knacked lambda or cat reading.

lambdas are around 80quid to replace...

James it did have the tb exhaust fitted before it was mapped mate:shrug:

Gonna make a burk of myself now,but you and Damo thought it was running rich? now your saying lean, like i said mate, cars aint my thing so am well confused now lol

lean was my typing error mate....

yeah but mapped at stage 1 generic.. stage 2 is customised to your mods.. i.e dp and high flow cat.

youll find once you go stage 2 it will pull harder and the turbo will spool up quickr.
