or headwork!
Still a bit of untapped potential in the 2.0tfsi still.
With so many stage 2 plus cars about us leon guys should really get a track day sorted.
Trackday would be sweet, Whats this headwork about?

We have been developing the 2.0L TFSi cylinder head with porting specialist JP with some great results. The head was built with Supertech valves to an engine with low comp pistons and uprated rods with a BDM K04 turbo. Results have found (even with low comp pistons) a drop in turbo lag with full boost being reached sooner, smoother and harder than a standard engine. I dont currently have any RR results as the engine was build and fitted into a KTM X-Bow and they dont dyno well.
Some nice pics of the head:

Prices are £750 for the porting inc skimming, new high temp valve stem seals and guides (if needed)
Pulleys are my next port of call.
Backdraft can do your headwork
Just more realistic figures, rather than low.
One of the few RR I've used that gives fairly honest and repeatable figures and both my LCR (Revo) and LCMk2 (APR) have shown it to be one of the better dyno's.
Keep me updated on all the details. Will be while still before I start putting the finishing touches to the engine. Diff clutch mounts and coilies need doing first.
Pov, you seem to be slowly destroying your K1. Or are we all just not driving ours properly![]()

Mine made 330bhp at the clutch when i had sorted the sps settings out and thats without itg and s3 core on awesome rollers.
Yeah i think im gonna go with VWR mounts, Clutch and bilstein coillies not gonna bother with the diff for my next set of mods.
I,m always happy to run my car on any dyno as you know Z. Be good to see what the differences are between all of our respective rides, regardless of the headline bhp figures.
You happy with your new CAI?. Has it solved your mystery misfire problem?.
It does have a hard life, h8t wp drove mine the other day and said there was a noticeable difference in how mine drives to his k1. Apparently mine changes gear and steers nicer, but his has double the miles of mine and an equally hard life.
Either way me and h8t wp seem to be exposing weaknesses here and there when running more power, and uprating as we go along.
Pulley gains are roughly 6-10hp Al.
How much are the pulleys likely to be.
