or headwork!

Still a bit of untapped potential in the 2.0tfsi still.

With so many stage 2 plus cars about us leon guys should really get a track day sorted.

Theres often trackdays being organised on the forum, you guys should come along. great legal fun!

My car only does straight lines well at the moment, corners are the next step.

BTW I have been meaning to ring you but have been busy, but have talked to revo about things. Also wayne uploaded his settings to my car for me and the flat spot is still there but not anywhere as bad as before. Plugs might have helped but still not 100% sure till I get the settings done properly, and have some brakes on the car to actually give the car a run out.

Trackday would be sweet, Whats this headwork about?

Shrick have cams for our engines, plus we can do lightned pulleys n stuff.

Hope you havnt got anything up your sleeve though like WMI or NOS .[/QUOTE]

WMI is a lot of chew for very little gain in my opinion. Very happy with my car at the moment so i,ll be sticking with my current spec for the time being. I,m expecting the gap between our cars to shrink at Awesome as i have never got good figures there.

Backdraft can do your headwork

We have been developing the 2.0L TFSi cylinder head with porting specialist JP with some great results. The head was built with Supertech valves to an engine with low comp pistons and uprated rods with a BDM K04 turbo. Results have found (even with low comp pistons) a drop in turbo lag with full boost being reached sooner, smoother and harder than a standard engine. I dont currently have any RR results as the engine was build and fitted into a KTM X-Bow and they dont dyno well.

Some nice pics of the head:

Prices are £750 for the porting inc skimming, new high temp valve stem seals and guides (if needed)

Just more realistic figures, rather than low.

One of the few RR I've used that gives fairly honest and repeatable figures and both my LCR (Revo) and LCMk2 (APR) have shown it to be one of the better dyno's.

I,m always happy to run my car on any dyno as you know Z. Be good to see what the differences are between all of our respective rides, regardless of the headline bhp figures.

You happy with your new CAI?. Has it solved your mystery misfire problem?.

Keep me updated on all the details. Will be while still before I start putting the finishing touches to the engine. Diff clutch mounts and coilies need doing first.

Pov, you seem to be slowly destroying your K1. Or are we all just not driving ours properly:think:

Mine made 330bhp at the clutch when i had sorted the sps settings out and thats without itg and s3 core on awesome rollers.

Yeah i think im gonna go with VWR mounts, Clutch and bilstein coillies not gonna bother with the diff although may just go oem with the clutch.

It does have a hard life, h8t wp drove mine the other day and said there was a noticeable difference in how mine drives to his k1. Apparently mine changes gear and steers nicer, but his has double the miles of mine and an equally hard life.

Either way me and h8t wp seem to be exposing weaknesses here and there when running more power, and uprating as we go along.

Pulley gains are roughly 6-10hp Al.

330 eh! nice figures Rob.

I believe the best RR days are the ones you get lots of people at with similar setups but with differing products. I think the RR day in December will be the first real occasion when we have had so many Mk2 Leon Cupra's running stage 2 modifications. So it will be great to see the results on show. Regardless of whether they are lower or higher than other RR's its the figures on the day that should count.

Not fitted the ITG yet, not had any time just recently. So I've continued running it with the stock airbox/carbonio K&N panel filter, but its also running a newer revision of the APR code too. Which appears to have made it far smoother than it was before and altered the power delivery.

I'd like to get a RR done as it is now, then I can see differences when the ITG fitted.

Not had a misfire since I removed the Dbilas, whether its linked or not I've no idea, its running less power at the moment (333hp clutch with Dbilas vs 312 clutch without - older APR software) but its running well at the moment. However the new code revision has altered the way it drives now, its less eager low into mid and appears to get more powerful towards the top.

How much are the pulleys likely to be.
