Some of you might know that i had to sell my beloved LCR because of new job. Its was a sad day, but thursday i picked up my new car which eased the pain alittle.

Its a 2006 Audi A4 2.0TDI S-line, took it away to a wedding at the weekend and was amazed at just how comfortable the ride was and how economical the 2.0 TDi was, i know i'm going to miss petrol but the benifits of a derv for me at the mo just makes it perfect. And for a big car the handling was better than i expected also, now for a couple of small mod's (can't resist, haha), and mostly enjoy.
Heres a few pics.

Yep the mod lists begins and gets bigger by the day.
So far i want to:
Change the exhaust (mainly for looks) for something about prettier
Change head unit so i can connect my ipod to it and get blue tooth (essential for 700miles a week).
AMD remap
A good machine polish in the summer (not really a mod i know)
New crome bits for the doors (the originals have gone)
And then maybe some summer wheels (BBS, money and GF depending, haha)

I agree on changing the lights, thats something I want to do to my A6. Not going to change my exhausts yet as I have the two at either side of the rear (2.7l twin turbo v6 ;)) When they go I will want bigger and shiney this time.

The comfort factor was a big issue for me and I'm sooo pleased I have the A6 as it makes such a difference. I can get out and about now whereas I was struggling before.

Does the A4 fit in the garage in the pics?

No, my garage is the one on the left hand side (light blue door), and because our garden is alittle small we have converted it into a kind of bar for when we have people over. So i park it out front on my drive and just take it round the back for washing.

Yeah i want a shiney exhaust aswell, i think it will just finish the back end off a treat. Thinking of an oval shape, alittle like the LCR exhaust.

I have EXACTLY the same motor as our new family car.
2006 too
When you get to know the car you will be surprised how good the handling is.
Double wish bones:)

Air Ride and some bentley rims

Got one of these as a poole car at work but only ever driven it on the motorway, really enjoyed it though.

cruise controll on and sit back...

Yeah i was surprised but just how good the ride and handling was when i took it for a spin around some lanes in Butley at the weekend, even fully loaded it was impressive.

So is it the 170 engine? The PD one or the CR one?

I'm pretty sure its the 140 version, all the original booklets etc from new came with the car and they all say 140ps on them. Does feel a little fatser than that if i'm honest though. Either way it will be remapped shortly after christmas anyway.

Need to leave it nice a comfy, doing over 700miles a week, so no big rims with rubber bands for tyres just yet. haha.
