When i turn my lights on(headlights) everything works,
I switch down to side lights only one headlight works and my dash lights go off,
Switch everything off then back to sides an everything works again fine.
then to headlights again all fine.
Cheers

Pretty much the same thing is happening to mine, only the drivers side tail light is permanently off, any thoughts?

As what I said, have you changed your rear bulbs recently? Or it might be worth checking you've got the right ones in there and none of them have blown.

I've seen blown double filament lights cause issues when the filament sits in the bulb the wrong way and connects things :s

It was all working last week for the MOT, it was only last nite when fuelling up i noticed the rear was out. Ive swapped the rear bulbs around and they both work in the near-side unit, both fail to work on off-side. I know the vendor changed some bulbs for me but they were indicator bulbs and they have all been working since.

Try cleaning all the connections on the rear bulb holder. I was having issues with my rears, when I pressed the brake the indicator bulb on the dash would come on slightly, and if I had the indicator on and braked the indicator went off. Also sometimes if I had my lights on the rear wouldnt be on.

I took the holder off, cleaned up all the connections and it works fine. And that was a good 2 months ago and no problems since.

Maybe a decent pair of walking boots would work? :(

Sorted, took the light switch out and took it apart, found it was covered in grease so cleaned it up and checked the contacts. I now have fully working lights!
Cheers guys, hope this helps someone else.
