Changing rods

Well I'm thinking about changing my rods for uprated IE ones. Just wandering what is required for the job?

Obviously new rods, but what else is needed? Gaskets? Pins?

Fair play, its crossed my mind aswell. How much you looking at for a new set? Think with the dollar being so good for us at the mo, its probably cheaper getting them from the states? INA or IE on here?

Integrated engineering send them over for $375 which equates to £225 Just wandering if that's all I need and how much of a job it would be to do myself.

I wish i didnt know the price now, daaaam tempting. But then if its a big'ish job there's the labour charge to fit then, which wont be cheap

Supposedly you can do it with the engine still in which is why I'm tempted to do it myself...

Head off, sump down so all the gaskets and sealer for those jobs, plus cambelt etc if not done.
