To fit the kit properly you will have to drill a hole in the headlamp cover to stop moisture getting in the headlamp. I got my kit from HIDS Direct and they have failed twice now, best kit I got was HIDS4U but are abit more expensive :( Other then that, straight forward job :)

Yes, as with any HID kit, basically unclip the cover from the back of the headlight and drill the hole to fit the rubber seal in to stop moisture, I went 6 months without my covers on as I never got round to doing it and still worked fine except the ballast died on my current set from HIDS Direct :(

You drill a hole in the black clip on cover?

yes. the plastic cover you take off to repalce your bulbs, you need to drill a hole through for the wires for the kit to pass through. had to make a 25mm hole for mine. guessing it will be similar if not the same for other kits. i did mine last week. was quick and easy to fit. literally about 15-20mins.

Did they replace the ballast / kit? Got mine from HIDS Direct and I am now worried.

I had a similar problem with my Ibiza

Bought them from Diane Shop , Drilled Holes and fitted them , Looked amazing

2 day later , They broke , Sent back and then sent a new set out , Ive had them a year without any problems , Im about to remove them from my Ibiza and fit them to the Leon (Hope moving them doesnt cause them to go pop)
