Hi guys, i was just wondering if anybody on here has a LSD on the cupra r. I have been looking at prices of them and seeing if its worth it?

I'm just away to send me gear box to Stealth Racing to get my Autotech Wavetrac differential fitted.

This is not cheap but mine's a track/fast road car so hopefully it will be worth it.

Cheapest I've seen for this is £800 for the differential and fitting kit

Stealth Racing do the fitting for £399 + VAT. This might go up depending on what they need to do to the box when they split it

where is that from an is that 800 inc delivery an import taxes?

I got one from Ebay, PSI tuning were selling this.
There are other companies offering similar prices but not the Autotech dealer that is also a forum sponsor.

JBS offered me to supply and fit the diff to the gear box (supplied to them on a pallet) for £1,200 ish inc VAT which was very good

how much did you pay for the quaife diff? Also did you fit it or have it fitted?

payed 450 for the diff, 140 for fitting kit and circa 350 to fit. not really a diy job unless your a gearbox specialist.

cost around 1200 quid including 4 wheel alignment, oil etc etc.

but my god is it wort it.. wouldnt bother without good suspension mind.

i have seen a diff on the quaife website and its priced £585, what is this fitting kit, havent heard about that?

afaik quaife sell the kit.. vw also do the kit dealer form. as do integrated engineering, forum sponsor on here. backdraft supplied and fitted my fitting kit.
