Mine is getting a new rear windscreen

Shattered for no apparent reason while driving home on Thursday night. Probably just a coincidence, but in 19 years of driving I've only had to replace 2 rear screens, and the last was on my previous mk4 ibiza, again seemingly for no apparent reason

I phoned Autowindscreens on Sunday to arrange to get a new rear screen, and they said they'd call me on Tuesday when they had had chance to get the glass.

Called to update this morning, and they can't get hold of the glass anywhere.

They've just called again as I'm typing this, and apparently it's going to be 10 working days before they can replace it!

Maybe try some other glass companies or a scrappy for a whole boot lid?

nothing my mum and dad asked but everything I want for the car is too expensive and specific and they can't just go in a shop and buy it.

Green panel filter, dust caps, aero wipers, tax disc holder and a bottle of millers. On the subject of millers do you put it in before or after filling with diesel?

mine got some new mats and a kestral polisher and a **** load of pads and polishes

Oh, and I bought my Mum a set of mats for her Arosa from the stealers. One of the last ten sets in the country, apparantly.

eibach sportlines, a set of 16mm front spacers and a set 40 mm rear spacers. which are getting fitted today, whoop.

damn, garage wont fit the spacers. i will have to brave the rain and fit them myself.
pics will be up on my build thread once ive done them.

fingers crossed they will be just right, 30mm where to thin (i hope).

Just out of interest, why have you gone for 40mm spacers?

i dont think the 30mm ones will do it justice, but thats just my opinion.

i got 2 knackered tyres, a knackered ball joint, a split cv boot and some squeaky brakes

I have to admit that I have just swapped my front and back tyres around as the front ones are about shagged after only 8 months.
