LCR MK1 Fault 17704 & 19534

Ive just did a fault code check using the U281 Memoscanner i bought off ebay as recommended from someone off here.

Ive also just done a google search and found this site that gives fault code descriptions and probable causes that lists the faults:

Ive had the following codes for engine:

17704 P1296 - Cooling System Malfunction:
ECT Sensor, engine coolant thermostat

19534 P3078 - Throttle Control System - insufficient air flow at idle speed:
Throttle vavle housing requires cleaning, intake leak, wiring, maf sensor, TP sensor, Throttle control unit, ECM

Also on the reader it scans for SRS and ABS which found no faults and A/T which keeps coming up linking error.

What is the A/T?

Also has anyone else had the other codes above and is it something major? How much will it set me back and can it be done by a non dealer.

A/T= automatic transmission, it's because you don't have an automatic car mate

Just searched the second code though and nothing is showing against it?

The coolant temprature one might be correct cos i used to have the thing beeping at me in the winter, but i scrapped the prong thing as advised on here and seemed to work fine after that.

m8 this is the samething I was getting lastweekend, thanks for putting me straight Richardo smooth... A/T automatic Transmision.......... what an idiot I am........

Mines all corrected now, coolant sensor changed and hoses cleaned. No lights on dash! woohoo!
