eco-tech powerboost valve?

Have finally figured out that this is what has been fitted to my leon since I got it. Have figured out how to close it off so its not doing anything now.
Will it do anything to my car, detrimental or otherwise?

I've never liked them to be honest, can you remove it and put it back to standard?

They generally go in the brake servo hose/pipe.

An ecotec valve, or a powertec valve? 2 different things. Is it one of those things that supposedly save you fuel?

Does it really, though? Or just another of these products such as the ebay resistor chip, and the magnets you put on the fuel line to save fuel lol

Be fine it's WOT/ accelerating you don't want it to be lean
