Different exhaust sound on cupra facelift?

Found this video on youtube and the exhaust sounds so different to the pre facelift. I thought everything was the same apart from styling differences

The engine is a new tsi not tfsi so it should sound different

tha engine is the same tfsi as the pre-f/l,i think it has a new exhaust!!
tha cupra r has for sure a new one maybe the normal cupra has it too!!

no the new cupra and cupra r both have tsi engines

No it isn't
the f/l has the same as ours and the R has the one the S3,scirocco R,Golf R has, which apart from the IC its the same tfsi...

this is a 2.0 TSI engine from the GTI MKVI

this is a 2.0 TFSI engine from the Cupra R f/l

this is a 2.0 TFSI engine from the Cupra pre-f/l



now which do you think its a tsi and which a tfsi??

its just marketing but the engine is the same, trust me. Only the FR has the new engine.

Seat says tsi for marketing reasons..they all call them tsi's now!!

same engine but i thought it was the cat that was different? i'm sure someone posted the part numbers up for both models. The noise probably comes from some engine trickary in the form of a resontator box like the mk6 golf gti

djhorace posted up parts number. I know the cupra r has a different exhaust for sure though by the numbers he posted

ye i suppose your right seat do lie alot when i brought my old 07 leon ref sport with body kit they said it was a limited edition ,but 6 months later they used the same kit on the 1.6 leon and then they used it on the k1

Don't think that is a standard exhaust mate! Sounds exactly like the blueflame exhaust in another post by a guy from Greece.

Does sound good though
