well this was certainly the fastest car ive ever sat in. foot went down and we went flying..........

does that not sound like a standard model ?

the time stated by seat is still pretty quick.

xXx

ah cool, so how come its so much faster than the time stated by seat themselves ?
A xXx

people love to exagerate (spelling?) how fast there cars are ect to impress little boys that dont know better! i love it when people try it with me thinking i know nothing then i just pull what they say to bits and make them look stupid!

yeah but the quoted 7.9 secs is hardly slow ......
as this was by no meens slow....
he was hardly trying to trick me as i was in the car and felt it pull.....

i just wanna know if its had any mods....
cause if it has i proabbly wouldnt bother buying one and moding it, but if its all standard i would love one.....

if there has been a mod to it what would you imagine it would be ? whats the most common...
also is there an easy way to find out ?

If it helps I did a 0-60 run with at bruntingthorpe where they use a radar gun thing and I did 0 - 60 in 6.4 in my Mk3 Ibiza Cupra with Stage 1 remap, had a little wheel spin but nothing major. I'd say it was a pretty good launch though

Most common mod to the Mk3 Ibiza Cupra would be a stage 1 remap, most bang for the buck so to speak

so chances are its just down to the fact that speedos are usually off ?
either that or there is a mod that he just doesnt know about ?

my sex teacher just took me home in a morris minor.
i could not belive that it out cornered an F1 car and accelerated faster than a veyron.

im only 10 so i think its well cool, so i thought i would find a morris minor forum to troll on.

Chances are it's just standard and he can't count properly...

Even an 8 second 0-60 will feel quick if you've only been used to 'average' cars. My Vectra felt awesome when I first got that (that had an 8 second 0-60), and I was coming from a not-too-slow Cavalier. Of course, then I got a bike, and realised what acceleration really means!

It's all relative...

Agreed, had to laugh when I pulled up at SEAT the other morning and the salesman came out, stroked the carbon bonnet and went "ooooh, is that real" laughing, then asked "what's it running then, 150, 160?"

His face soon dropped when I opened the bonnet, tw*t...

and unfortunately ... so true!

seriously this kid must be early teens, and his drum kit teacher obviously likes to impress young boys.

when i went from my 1.4 ibiza to my 2.2 accord and re-mapped it... it more or less trippled the power of my old ibiza

69.6bhp and 90flb torque -> 192bhp and 290 flb torque. it felt quick for about 1 maybe 2 months, and now it feels slow :(
