Thinking of doing something very different to my leon cupra and was wandering what would be the smallest wheels i could get away with as i have some 15" porsche teledial wheels left over from a previous project and i think they would look sweet on a slammed leon!

at one point i had considered going down to 14's, i believe you will have to downsize your brakes.

for 15's or 14's? not sure i'm too keen on downsizing brakes, although it would be worth it

Nahhhhh.

To have 14 or 15" wheels you'll have no chance on going as low as you need as the car will just bottom out leaving a good 5" of arch gap

true, the arches on a leon are cavenous! might just pop them on the wifes punto instead. Thought about th lines in 18's but with baby on the way they're far too expensive!

You can take up the arch gap with a huge set of Hoosiers.

You's have to get the suspension on air bags to get the stance you want.
As stated already, you'd have to down grade the brakes as 17" are the smallest diameter to clear the brakes.

On a normal cupra or lcr? LC's came with 16"s, so you could get away with those

true, plus the lc spare is a 16" steel! dot me thinking of some borbet a's now! they're pretty rare in a 5 stud though
